Des and Eric pretty much set the standard for living life to their fullest.

The both of them are actually from Canada but when Eric got a job in California, they both packed their bags and jumped at the opportunity to move to the Golden State. What was really special about this adventure session was that neither of them had actually been to Yosemite before. I was going to be starting my season as a guide within the Sierra’s so it was the perfect chance for me to show them around my newfound stomping ground. The only off thing about this session was that it was in-between seasons still and the road to Glacier Point was still closed due to snow. Did Des and Eric care that we had a 4 mile climb with over 3,000 ft of elevation gain to Glacier Point? Nah. We just romped on up just in time for sunset and snapped a few photos before it got too dark. Initially we were going to get some of the standard white dress and suit kind of photos, but after a few minutes of shooting it was straight up just way too cold for that. So Des put her sweater back on and was super happy with getting some more casual shots. The both of them where just so down to earth, and so true to themselves that just by watching them steal glances at each other during our time spent together literally made my heart want to explode. They didn’t care at all about getting the “perfect shot”

They simply just wanted to be with each other.
